Teaching Philosophy
I create educational environments that challenge students to learn and grow (e.g., training students to think like scientists, teaching communication skills) while maintaining identity-safety (e.g., incorporating equitable practices, making material personally relevant, using diverse teaching tools and evaluations, emphasizing personal commitment).
